Job Summary

As a Body Technician at Michael J's Collision, you will play a pivotal role in the repair process, ensuring that vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of the repair process, from dent removal to structural repairs. The ability to work collaboratively within a team, make sound decisions, and consistently deliver top-notch work is crucial for success in this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to facilitate efficient repair operations.
  • Assess and repair damaged vehicle bodies, frames, and structural components.
  • Remove dents, weld, and align panels to meet repair specifications.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the best repair methods and techniques.
  • Maintain a keen focus on detail, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
  • Operate equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Keep an organized and clean workspace, following safety protocols.
  • Communicate and coordinate with colleagues and management on repair progress.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Body Technician in the automotive repair industry.
  • Exceptional team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work with attention to detail.
  • Efficient and effective work methods.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard repair techniques and equipment.
  • Certification in automotive collision repair is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license.
