We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in accurately assessing vehicle damage, estimating repair costs, and ensuring a seamless experience for our valued customers.


Job Summary

As an Estimator at Michael J’s Collision, you will be responsible for evaluating the extent of damage to vehicles and providing accurate repair estimates. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive comprehensive and transparent estimates, facilitating a smooth repair process. To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of estimating practices, proficiency with CCOne software, knowledge of DRP programs for State Farm and AAA, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine repair requirements.
  • Accurately estimate repair costs, considering labor, parts, and materials.
  • Utilize CC One management system to create detailed and itemized repair estimates.
  • Understand the DRP (Direct Repair Program) requirements for State Farm and AAA.
  • Collaborate with our team of technicians, parts specialists, and customer service representatives.
  • Maintain open communication with insurance companies and adjusters.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Keep detailed records and documentation of all estimates and interactions.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and manage workload efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in vehicle estimating.
  • Proficiency with CC One management system.
  • In-depth knowledge of DRP programs for State Farm and AAA.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
